Jilabun
Jilabun is one of the few places in the Golan, which are left untouched.
Two of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Golan, a village from 2nd temple,
the Beit Midrash of Rabi the Kappar, pools of clean and fresh water. Just
minutes from the hot and crowded Kineret.
Two warterfalls in the waddi: Dvora, 12m hight, located on the upper-eastern
side of the waddi, and Jilabun warterfalls, 35m hight, on the side of the
waddi. The waddi runs into a Syrian officers pool called Jalabina
How to get there:
-
From Rosh-Pina drive north to Mahanayim junc, turn right to Gadot, and start
climbing the Golan. Before a milatary base on the left there's a small path
for 4x4 vehicles (I did it with my Ibiza 1500...). Drive about 2km, first
north, then turn left(west), and after 200m right about 300m till you reach
an old and deserted military base. that's the beginning of the waddi Gilabun.
Haven't seen any signs...
Have a look at Dvora Waterfalls, located on the eastern part of the waddi:
